Welcome, Little One...

It seemed surreal. In her previous life, she had been alone. No one to look after her, no one to take care of her… but after she’d tried and become what the Superiors called a “Nobody” instead of dying, her second life was much better than the first. After that cold, stormy night, she’d gone and explored a little, made friends in many worlds. She shook her head, then shook her hair out of her eyes and looked around. There were quite a few people around; she would doubtless keep making friends. The Superiors were friendly, and the others looked friendly too. She went to a table and picked up a drink and took a sip. She was having fun, and enjoying herself. Then she noticed a man leaning against the wall, alone. He was tall, and looked a little grouchy. She didn’t want him to be alone, so she decided to try and get him to join the party…
